Fall 2026 After-School Programs

HeArt School with Dana & Camila

Dana and Camila invite all children that love to create art and learn from nature to have their ideas bud, blossom, and bloom alongside the Earth. Each class will include movement, a guided meditation journey, individual work and creative art-making on a special installation that will continue to grow at Blue Rock.

Grades: 1st-8th 

Day/Time: Tuesdays from 3:30pm to 5pm (1.5-hour class)

Session: September 22 to October 27 (6 weeks)

Cost: $180 + $10 material

Sewing with Wendy & Heather

Wendy and Heather will practice the fundamentals of sewing - threading a needle, tying a knot and pinning. The children may come home with sewn bags (perfect for nature and trinket collections), bookmarks, mug mats, or decorative patches for clothing. Although some projects will be pre-cut and ready-to-sew, the children are welcome to initiate their own designs.

Grades: 2nd-8th

Day/Time: Tuesdays from 3:30pm to 4:30pm

Session: September 22  to October 20 (5 weeks)

Cost: $100 + $15 material fee

Mask Making with Camila

A hands-on after-school program where children design and create their own masks while exploring storytelling, identity, and imagination. Through painting, sculpting, and mixed materials, each student develops artistic skills alongside confidence and self-expression, bringing their inner world to life through a creation that is entirely their own.

Grades: 1st-6th 

Day/Time: Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 4:30pm 

Session: September 23 to October 28 (6 weeks)

Cost: $120 + $15 material fee

The Blue Rock Dance Floor with Zuzu

Move and groove after school with dance classes led by Zuzu! In this program, students will learn some dance styles from around the world, and make some dances of their own. Improvisation and choreography, music and silence, dancing feet and dancing hearts! A fruit salad of dance styles to taste!

Grades: 4th-8th 

Day/Time: Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 4:30pm 

Session: September 23 to October 28 (6 weeks)
